For the Travel Trade

A Botswana specialist, working behind your brand.

We work as a ground handler and destination management company for international travel advisors, luxury consortia members and overseas operators.

What we offer the trade

Everything you need to sell Botswana properly.

Your client relationship stays yours. We supply the country knowledge, the ground operation and the 24/7 cover — under your name if you prefer.

Confidential net rates

Net rates and commission structures across all four collections, with clear terms and no undercutting of your pricing to the end client.

White-label proposals

Designed itineraries and advisor-branded documentation you can pass straight to your client, with our name nowhere on it unless you want it there.

Familiarisation trips

Fam trips for qualified advisors, run at cost, so you sell Botswana from experience rather than from a brochure.

Same-day trade response

A dedicated trade contact who answers within the working day — because you are usually holding a client on the other line.

Bonded and insured

Full financial and operating licensing, Botswana Tourism Organisation registration and HATAB membership. Documentation available on request.

One point of contact

The same person from first quotation to final invoice, who knows your clients’ preferences without being reminded.

Why a single-country specialist

Botswana is a difficult country to sell from a rate sheet.

Bed counts are finite, concessions are private, camp quality moves year to year, and the flood level changes which properties are worth booking at all. None of that shows up in an availability screen.

We sell one country, we go and look at what we are selling, and we hold the relationships that occasionally get a room released in August when the system says there is nothing. That is most of what a ground handler is for.

Trade, answered

What advisors ask before opening an account.

How do your net rates work?

We quote confidential net rates across all four collections, and you apply your own margin. We never undercut your pricing to the end client, and we will not take a direct booking from a client you have introduced to us. Rate sheets are issued on account approval and refreshed each season.

Can you white-label everything?

Yes. Designed itineraries, routing maps, camp profiles and pre-departure documentation can all be issued under your brand with no mention of us. On the ground your client is met by our team but travelling under your booking: we brief camps accordingly.

How quickly do you turn a quotation around?

Same working day for availability and an indicative price; within 72 hours for a fully designed proposal. We know you are usually holding a client on the other line, and that a two-day silence loses the booking.

Do you work with consortia?

Yes: we work with Virtuoso, Traveller Made and similar member advisors, and we are comfortable with consortia amenity requirements and preferred-partner reporting. Tell us your affiliation when you open the account.

What happens if something goes wrong while my client is in-country?

Our Maun duty desk handles it and tells you what happened, rather than leaving you to find out from an upset client. Charter delays, weather, medical, a missed connection — we resolve it on the ground and send you a written note the same day.

Do you run familiarisation trips?

Yes, for qualified advisors, run at cost and scheduled around the shoulder seasons. Botswana is a country you sell far better having seen — particularly the difference between a water camp and a land camp, which is almost impossible to convey from a brochure.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Botswana Tourism Organisation licensed, HATAB member, member of the Botswana Guides Association, and fully bonded and insured with current public liability cover. Documentation is available on request when you open an account.

Selling Botswana to a client this week?

Send us the brief and we will come back with a designed, white-labelled proposal and net rates — usually the same working day.
